Lazy Kaja is back after 11 days;) So after living in Sweden for a while you kind of start to be a little bit Swedish or at least you adopt some habits and do some things you probably wouldn't at home. So prepare dear friends in Slovenia I got some different things going on in my behavior;)
1. I don't go for coffe anymore, I have Fika! Meaning I don't only drink coffie when I go for a coffee, but I usually get something sweet as well (which already left some consequences on my body);
2. I learnd that there is a queue for everything and you have to get a number if you want to be served in pharmacy, at doctors, when you're buying a train ticket, etc. even if there is no queue (if that is even posible), you take a number, no one will serve you withouth a number! The strangest thing is I acctually accepted that and find it completly normal.
3. Also I find it completly normal that you have to sing up for a guest list if you want to go clubbing. And you will still have to pay around 15 to 20 Euros to get in. Ok I don't find that normal, but still I accepted it and that's enough.
4. I think the only phone that is acceptable to have is Iphone. I actually don't get it anymore why people don't have smartphones. And I'm totally embarrassed that I still have my old Nokia E5 and there is no way I will take it out of my bag in public.
5. I find it totally normal that you can only buy alcohol in Systembolaget. And only on weekdays until 7pm and on Saturdays until 3pm. So if you want for some reson to get drunk on Sunday and you don't have any alcohol at home, you're screwed.
6. I learned that there is no waiters and waitresses in bars and restaurants. You serve yourself. You go to the bar by yourself, pay there and they give you drinks, but you have to get your food on yor own. Sometimes you even have to clean by yourself.
7. I say Hey everytime when I meet someone. And Hey da everytime I say goodbye. And I use tak for thank you!
8. I acctaully started following all the rules. In Sweden you just follow the rules. If it's forbidden to drink on the Subway, you don't drink on the Subway (just one example). Like that would ever happen in Slovenia:)
9. I don't use umbrella. Only if it's really puring rain. But not if it's snowing, not even if its snowing like crazy. Hat and scarf is completely enough!
10. I don't apologize if I acidentely bump into someone on the Subway. I mind my own business, I don't care what other people do. They can sream, laugh, beating each other (ok that's not happening in Sweden but still), I don't care. Probably if I would be really Swedish I would just look at my IPhone and pretend nothing is happening:)
